Donation Policy

To facilitate easy and quick facility of Donation, Room booking, Darshan and Aarti pass Booking are offered through Sansthan’s website online.sai.org.in. Payment gateway, Net Banking, POS machine are made available for quick and hassle free payment.

The cashless facility of accepting cash through Debit/Credit Card through POS/EDC machine has been made available to the Devotee at the place of Donation Counters in the Sansthan. Donation Boxes (Hundi) are placed at various places in the Sansthan premises and Devotees can donate there. However, the Devotees expecting the receipts of Donation of Cash, Cheque, Demand Draft, and Foreign Currency can visit the Donation counters at various places in the Temple premises.

Various Donation funds:

A] Charity/Development fund donation:

1)General Donation fund: This fund is utilized for providing various facility to Devotees.

2)Building Fund: This fund is utilized for construction and maintenance of buildings like Darshan Queue, Prasadalaya, and Accommodation etc.

3)Medical Fund: This fund is utilized for providing updated medical facilities to the needy patients at affordable rates.

4)Education Fund: Trust have started various educational activities to provide advance education facilities to the student from rural area as well as Shirdi. This fund is used for educational facilities as well as the expenses incurred for administration.

5)Annadan Fund: This fund received are utilized for prasadalaya activity, Free meals to devotees, Hospital Patients, Meals to oldage home, Student of deaf and dumb Schools

Note: Donation received for the above funds (Srno 1 to 5) will be applicable for deduction under section 80G of the income Tax.

B] Religious Program Fund:

6)Abhishek Fund: In presence of Sai Devotee, Abhishek Puja of Shri Saibaba is performed daily. For participating Abhishek Pooja Devotee have to pay Rs 101/- (Husband & Wife or single Devotee allowed on one coupon)

7)Naivedyam offering fund: This fund is utilized for Shri Saibaba’ s daily offering.

8)Festival Fund: Shri Ram Navami, Shri Guru Purnima and Dassara(Samadhi Anniversary) are celebrated every year by Sansthan. Festival fund is utilized for expenses incurred for it.

9)Kothi (Dhup Deep) Fund: Pooja is performed daily in Samadhi Temple, Gurusthan, Dwarkamai and Chavadi. This fund is utilized for said activity.

10)Shri Sai Satyavrata Puja Fund (Satya Narayana): Shri Sai Satyavrat puja is organized daily by the Trust. All required articles for puja are provided by Trust. On single ticket an individual/Couple (Husband & Wife) can attend Puja.

11)Free Prasad Bhojan Scheme : Under Bhojan Scheme devotee can donate Rs 50,000 or more for free meals to devotee in Trust Prasadalaya. The Name of donor devotee will be displayed on Donor Board for the date which devotee books. Amount for this scheme is accepted on local counter as well as online.

Note: Donation received for the Religious Program Fund (Sn 6 to 11) will be Not Applicable for deduction under section 80G of the income Tax.

Donation at Shirdi Temple is accepted as follows

A] Donation in CASH

  1. In Temple premises computerized Donation counters are there.
  2. Donation in Cash (INR) and foreign currency are accepted at any of the authorized offices of Sansthan.
  3. Authorized office of Trust is also at Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Banglore, for detail address of this office visit, https://online.sai.org.in/#/InformationCenters

Note: Devotee donating in foreign Currency have to submit Self attested Xerox copy of Passport (as per FCRA rules).

B] Donation by Post

  1. If donation is made by Cheque, DD or Travelers cheque, the acknowledgement is given immediately. After clearance of Cheque, DD or traveler’s cheque, receipt with 80G will be issued (80G eligible Donation heads are given above)
  2. Cheque, DD or traveler’s cheque should be drawn in the favor of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi and should send on following address.

  3. Receipt of the donation by post are sent along with holy UDI-Prasad on devotees address.

Note - After donating through Direct Bank Transfer Devotee can mail to chdd@sai.org.in, obt@sai.org.in stating details of donation like transaction details, donation head, Name and Address for receiving donation receipt with Holy Udi.

Important Note

  • A devotee can donate only Rs-1,99,999 (Rs. One Lakh ninety nine thousands Nine hundred ninety-nine) in Cash in single day.
  • Section 80G of Income Tax act will not be applicable for Cash donation more than 2000/-
  • Donation through Money order, Cheque, or Online are applicable under Section 80G of income Tax (80G eligible Donation head are given above)

Donor privileges:

Sai devotee who visits to Shirdi and donate Rs 25,000 or more in Cash/Kind or through banking facility in donation office, Such devotees will be beneficiaries of gift by Trust. The gift includes Shri Saicharitra book, 3D photo of Shri Saibaba. These devotees are also offered one time free darshan and aarti on the same day of donation. If quota of aarti is full on that day same can be made available on the next convenient day.
