On behalf of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi, the Sansthan Ad-hoc committee has taken a decision to donate Rs. 51 Crore to the Chief Minister Relief Fund to assist in the fight with the danger of Corona Virus, which is taking a toll on the country and the State. This information was provided by Sansthan Chief Executive Officer Mr. Arun Dongre.
Mr. Dongre said that the Central and the State Governments are fully ready to fight dangerous Corona virus spreading across the worlds and the country. On this backdrop, the Sansthan Ad-hoc committee of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi, has taken a decision to donate Rs. 51 Crore to the Chief Minister Relief Fund to assist in the fight with the danger of Corona Virus.
On behalf of Sansthan Shri Sai Prasadalaya, free food is being supplied to the patients and relatives at Shri Saibaba Hospital and Shri Sainath Hospital, Orphanages in Shirdi area, old age homes, Deaf and Dumb School, Police personnel on Bandobast duties, destitute and needy people at Shridi Bus Depot and staff working at the Sansthan and Government offices for security, cleanliness and other works.
For breakfast for Police personnel on bandobast duties in village areas, 3,000 Boondi and 3,000 chiwda packets are being supplied to the District Police Headquarters.
Mr. Dongre said that assistance from Sansthan has also been provided earlier during national and natural calamities. Among this Rs. 5 Crore was provided for flood affected persons from Kerala, Rs. 12 Crores for flood affected persons from Maharashtra and Rs. 2.51 Crores for assisting the families of Pulwama Martyrs.
On this occasion Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Sansthan Mr. Ravindra Thakre and Chief Accounts Officer Babasaheb Ghorpade were also present.
